Doerner Jewelers, Inc.

was started in 1954 in Chicago, by Michael Doerner. He relocated his business to Niles, 10 Years later. Mr. Doerner is an established watchmaker, jeweler and gemologist.

As a family-owned business, Doerner Jewelers, Inc. is known for competitive prices and exceptional quality. Mr. Doerner has acquired the requisite training in gemology, while honoring the ethics that have long inspired the jewelry industry. The result is quality standards and uncompromising customer service.

Mr. Doerner’s daughter, Gabriele Doerner-Reego, went to GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in 1982-1985 and studied gemology and jewelry design. When she returned she worked along side her father for many years.

After the retirement of Mr. Doerner in 2002, Gabriele took over the jewelry store and continues the same commitment to the family business. She relocated the business in 2006, to Algonquin Downtown where the store still is today.
